The USC-Oregon rivalry has become incredibly multifaceted. There’s the annual on-field battle for Pac-12 supremacy. The arms race to see who has the better facilities. And now dueling, gorgeous cheerleaders on summer lake trips.The Ducks’ cheer squad, which has become legendary over the last decade, were photographed soaking up the sun at Oregon’s Triangle Lake this past weekend. This came three weeks after USC had their annual Lake Tahoe “SCend Off” featuring members of the Song Girls squad in their trademark sweaters and skirts.
While not as established as USC’s, Oregon’s preseason cheerleader tradition — now in its third year — is definitely worth a look. Particularly since they do away with the pomp and circumstance of the Song Girl outfits for bikinis.
